How I work: Presentations (PPT)
How I work: Presentations (PPT)
An example

Presentations VS Slidedecks VS assets
The Options:
- Powerpoint presentation or PPT - in-person presentation, supporting a talk
- Slidedecks - offline, sent to a client, read whilst absent, as a PDF. Slidedecks may require more work than a quick presentation: the illustrations are there to stay and need to be accurate.
- Just assets (illustrations for the presentation, library of assets)
The Process:
- I can create simple hand-drawn graphics as shown below. If you need more intricate illustrations, they simply will take longer. Ask me for some examples.
- If I create the whole presentation, I will need content first - signed off, sealed and delivered. Remember to give me the final article, because if you make changes, there will be changes to the illustrations.
- Each slide will have 1 sketch - so best to give a short description of what you envisage the sketch to be, if you want to avoid me having to redo a sketch (What are you asking me to do: Provide the idea of the sketch OR just the sketch of your idea?)
- If you do not like the sketch I created - a new sketch will have to be drawn up (this will be charged at my hourly rate).
- Tight deadlines can be a problem, I am happy to accommodate them, but I need willingness to provide good briefs etc.
- I am aware that a product needs to work for you - so think: what is your budget for a presentation?
- My Freedcamp tool registers the time, so it's a very transparent process and I have used this for years. It gives me a good idea of how long something will take.

Remember my illustrations are bespoke, made for you in your branding colours. They are not stock images. The product needs to work for you. And I need to get paid for my work.
